You may use the text template form or the online forms below to submit domain registration form for new domains, or to modify or delete the existing domains. The web forms provide an easy to use interface, while the text template forms are more suitable for use with advanced, repeatable, or automated registration systems.

Register A new Domain

1. Choose a domain name (e.g. XYZ.com.pk). Check if it is available.
2. Arrange for a couple of nameservers to carry your domain name. PKNIC can not register a domain name until it is properly set up with at least two nameservers. This service can be contracted from one of the various Internet Service Providers, or Web Hosting companies in Pakistan or outside Pakistan.
3. Fill out the Domain registration form (using the web online or text template form above). Make sure that you have read the domain name registration policy before form submission.
4. Submit the online web form, or Send the prepared text tempalte Domain form to submit@pknic.net.pk by email.
5. A ticket number will be assigned immediately and emailed to you.
6. PKNIC, at its own discretion, may require a written authorization before the new domain may be registered.
7. When the domain name is registered, or returned due to errors in the form, you will be notified by email. You will also receive an authorization code for each new domain registered. This code must be kept in a safe place, and is used for any modifications and deletion of your new domain name.
8. In the meantime, you can check the status of your pending domain by going to the Records section of this web site, or by sending email to pkinfo@pknic.net.pk

Modify an existing Domain

• You must be the domain owner, or technical contact (or authorized representative) for the domain name that you want to modify. You will need the authorization code for your domain.
• Fill out the Domain registration form ((using the web online or text template form above). Make sure that you have read the domain name registration policy before form submission. Specify the Authorization code in the form.
• Submit the online web form, or Send the prepared text tempalte Domain form to submit@pknic.net.pk by email.
• A ticket number will be assigned immediately and emailed to you.
• When the domain name is modified, or returned due to errors in the form, you will be notified by email.
• In the meantime, you can check the status of your pending ticket by going to the Records section of this web site, or by sending email to pkinfo@pknic.net.pk

Delete an existing Domain

• You must be the domain owner, or technical contact (or authorized representative) for the domain name that you want to delete. You will need the authorization code for your domain.

name.pk domains are registered instantly, while the typical processing time is 24 to 48 hours for standard 2nd level domains (.com.pk, .net.pk, ..).
